bobRobert M. Raftice, Jr. practices law in the areas of civil litigation (including commercial and probate litigation), bankruptcy, financial restructuring, Medicaid planning, elder law and criminal defense.

He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Maine where he was a 1989 Magna Cum Laude graduate in Business Administration. He graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 1992. Prior to completing his undergraduate studies, Bob played professional baseball in the New York Yankees organization and subsequently coached baseball at Cape Elizabeth High School for seven years.

Bob is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts in Maine and has argued in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit at Boston. His Professional Affiliations include Membership in Maine Bar Association (1992); Federal Bar for the District of Maine; Maine Estate Planning Council; Maine Trial Lawyers Association; American Trial Lawyers Association; and the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. In addition, Bob is a frequent speaker for estate planning seminars.

Bob is a lifelong Maine resident.  He lives in Cape Elizabeth with his wife, Susan E. Raftice, and their three daughters, Kayla, Lizzie and Emma Rose.
